Abstract

This article examines the role of mass sports events in promoting a healthy lifestyle among young people. In modern society, increasing youth participation in physical activity, preventing sedentary behavior, and developing a positive attitude toward health are among the key tasks of education and social development. Mass sports events serve as an effective tool for encouraging young people to engage in regular physical exercise, strengthen their physical fitness, and form healthy daily habits. The article highlights the social, pedagogical, and motivational importance of public sports activities, including competitions, sports festivals, health days, marathons, and team games. It is emphasized that such events not only improve physical health but also develop discipline, teamwork, self-confidence, social activity, and a sense of responsibility among youth.
