Abstract

This article explores the importance of developing independent thinking skills in students and the various pedagogical strategies that promote autonomy, critical reflection, and problem-solving abilities. In an age dominated by information, it is essential that students are not only passive recipients of knowledge but active constructors of their own understanding. This paper investigates the theoretical basis of independent thinking, practical classroom techniques to foster it, and the long-term benefits of nurturing such skills for lifelong learning and citizenship.
