Abstract

The study examines the role of independent learning skills in enhancing educational effectiveness. Independent learning enables students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, self-regulation, and reflective practices. The research highlights the psychological, motivational, and pedagogical factors that contribute to the formation of these skills. Practical strategies such as goal-setting, metacognitive training, project-based learning, portfolio assessment, blended learning, and peer-assisted learning are discussed. The study concludes that fostering independent learning skills not only improves immediate academic outcomes but also prepares students for lifelong learning and professional adaptability.
