Abstract

This paper examines both the theoretical underpinnings and practical implications of fostering compensatory competence in the context of teaching German as a second foreign language. Particular attention is paid to the role of modern pedagogical technologies and their capacity to enhance learners communicative performance. The study further explores how interactive methodologies, digital learning environments, and communicative approaches facilitate learners’ ability to overcome linguistic deficiencies The findings suggest that the systematic development of compensatory competence substantially contributes to learners’ communicative autonomy and overall language proficiency.
