Abstract

The integration of virtual laboratories into general education schools has transformed the way science experiments are conducted. Virtual laboratories provide a safe, flexible, and interactive environment for students to engage in scientific exploration, promoting conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and collaborative skills. They enable the simulation of complex or hazardous experiments that may be impractical in traditional laboratory settings, while also supporting individualized learning and real-time assessment of students’ procedural and analytical skills. Effective implementation requires teacher training, technological infrastructure, and alignment with curriculum standards. Overall, virtual laboratories enhance science education by making it more accessible, engaging, and reflective, preparing students for both academic and real-world scientific challenges.
