Family is an integral part of society. Among modern parents, not only those who want to raise their children correctly, but also those who do not always know how to do it correctly prevail. In this article, the components of the family's educational potential and criteria indicators, the importance of increasing parental responsibility in child education are analyzed.
Also, the importance of social cooperation in improving the educational potential of parents was discussed.
