The article aims to highlight the topic entitled "Theoretical and practical foundations of developing creative competence of primary school students through reading lessons". It analyzes pedagogical methods, active assignments, innovative trends, and opportunities for working with literary texts used to enhance the creative thinking skills of primary school students. As a result of the analysis, the promotion of students is intended through their independent thinking abilities and the effectiveness of creative approaches in the educational process.
