IMPROVEMENT OF INDEPENDENT LEARNING OF FUTURE JOURNALISTS THROUGH AN INTEGRATIVE APPROACH

This article explores the theoretical foundations of independent learning in journalism education and examines ways to enhance its effectiveness through an integrative pedagogical approach. Independent learning has become a key component of higher education reform, particularly in creative and practice-oriented fields such as journalism. The study analyzes the conceptual framework of self-directed learning, identifies methodological principles for organizing it in journalism curricula, and discusses integrative strategies that combine cognitive, technological, and professional competencies. The findings suggest that integrating independent learning tasks into journalism courses fosters critical thinking, creativity, and professional autonomy.
