THE ROLE OF DIGITAL APPLICATIONS IN DEVELOPING ENGLISH WRITING COMPETENCE

This article explores the role of modern digital applications in developing English writing competence among language learners. The study focuses on the pedagogical value of mobile and web-based applications as innovative tools for improving writing accuracy, coherence, vocabulary range, and grammatical awareness. From both theoretical and practical perspectives, the research examines technology-supported writing instruction, learner autonomy, and automated feedback systems embedded in modern applications. In addition, the article presents effective teaching strategies, classroom-based writing tasks, and application-oriented activities aimed at enhancing academic writing skills. The findings indicate that the systematic integration of digital applications into writing instruction significantly improves learners’ writing performance andcontributes to the development of their overall communicative competence.
