Abstract

The importance of native language in primary education is paramount, as it serves as the foundation for learning in all other subjects. This article explores the significant role that native language education plays in the cognitive, emotional, and social development of children in primary education. The study highlights how mastery of the native language aids in the development of literacy, critical thinking, and communication skills, which are essential for academic success. Additionally, the article examines the implications of native language teaching for educational policies and pedagogical strategies in primary schools.
