This article analyzes innovative approaches to the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in the higher education system from both theoretical and practical perspectives. In the context of digital transformation, the integration of AI-based adaptive learning systems, learning analytics, intelligent assessment platforms, and virtual assistants into university activities has become increasingly relevant. The study employed systematic analysis, a comparative approach, a pedagogical experiment, and statistical data processing methods. The results indicate that an AI-supported learning process enhances students’ academic performance, increases teaching effectiveness, and enables the formation of individualized learning trajectories. The article also discusses ethical, legal, and technical challenges arising from the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies.
