INTEGRATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE INTO RUSSIAN LANGUAGE TEACHING: PEDAGOGICAL ASPECTS AND PRACTICAL APPLICATION IN HIGHER EDUCATION

This study examines the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies into teaching Russian as a foreign language at the university level. As the digital transformation is changing educational paradigms, AI-based tools are opening up unprecedented opportunities for personalized learning, automated assessment, and linguistic competence enhancement. This study is dedicated to studying the effectiveness of artificial intelligence applications, including chatbots, intelligent learning systems, and natural language processing tools, in teaching Russian. Thanks to the blended approach, in which 95 students and 12 teachers participated during one academic semester, the study showed that the integration of artificial intelligence increases students' language proficiency by 38% and significantly increases motivation. The results of the study show that artificial intelligence tools are particularly effective in developing writing skills, providing immediate feedback, and facilitating autonomous learning. However, there are problems related to the need to train teachers, the limitations of the technical infrastructure, and the need to maintain interaction with people when learning a language. This article complements the growing body of literature on language learning using technology and provides practical recommendations for teachers and institutions implementing artificial intelligence in Russian language learning programs.
