DEVELOPING STUDENTS’ COMPETENCIES THROUGH THE ENHANCEMENT OF INTERDISCIPLINARY CONNECTIONS

Abstract
This study examines the development of students’ competencies through the enhancement of interdisciplinary connections in education. Interdisciplinary approaches foster the integration of knowledge, critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. The research highlights the significance of curriculum design, teacher professional development, assessment strategies, and institutional support in promoting holistic competence formation. Interdisciplinary education is shown to improve academic outcomes, socio-emotional development, and readiness for real-world challenges.
