This article highlights the relevance of developing technical thinking in teaching specialized subjects, its theoretical and pedagogical foundations, and the role of modern educational technologies. The content of the concept of technical thinking, the main principles and methods of its development are analyzed. The importance of problem-based learning, project-based learning, information and communication technologies, and the STEAM approach are also revealed. The article also considers the problems encountered in the formation of technical thinking and their solutions.
