Abstract

Speech culture is not just beautiful and correct speech, but the art of expressing thoughts in a logical, consistent and cultured manner in accordance with the norms of the literary language. Such skills do not appear by themselves, but are gradually formed from the school period, especially in native language lessons at school. The article covers the methodological possibilities of native language lessons in developing students' oral and written speech and the effective use of modern teaching methods.
