This article is focused on exploring the role and importance of coaching and mentoring methods in developing the leadership skills of school principals. The study analyzes the theoretical foundations of coaching and mentoring, their role in enhancing the personal and professional competencies of school principals, as well as the challenges faced in implementing these methods in Uzbekistan. The article provides recommendations for the effective application of coaching and mentoring, including training qualified specialists, developing manuals and methodological materials, and reducing the gap between urban and rural schools.
