Abstract

This article examines the importance of structured writing techniques in developing academic writing skills in English. Academic writing requires not only grammatical accuracy, but also logical organization, coherence, cohesion, appropriate vocabulary, and the ability to express ideas in a clear and evidence-based manner. The study emphasizes that structured techniques such as outlining, paragraph planning, thesis statement development, drafting, revising, and editing help learners organize their thoughts systematically and improve the overall quality of their written work.
