Understanding and applying knowledge about the impact of nutrition on inflammatory processes and the overall health of patients opens up new opportunities to improve the quality and duration of life. These aspects also highlight the need for further research and development of programs aimed at improving nutrition and dietetic education for both health care professionals and patients and their families. Focusing on the importance of nutritional support can be a significant step towards long-term disease control, which is, of course, a priority for all involved.
