This article analyzes the issues of moving away from traditional methods of teaching technological education and fostering modern engineering thinking among students. It substantiates that during lessons, it is important not only to teach students how to make an object, but also to explain the logical and didactic stages behind creating that object. The article proposes new methodological models for organizing technology lessons through interdisciplinary integration.
