The article analyzes the multifaceted impact of global climate change on humanity. The author examines the social, economic, and political consequences of climate change, population growth, and the depletion of natural resources. Special attention is paid to anthropogenic factors of ecological problems — the use of freons, the greenhouse effect, increased radiation background, industrial emissions, and soil salinization. The study highlights how the disruption of the balance between nature and society leads to the loss of biodiversity, food insecurity, and shortages of drinking water. The paper also discusses the measures taken in Uzbekistan to protect nature and ensure sustainable use of natural resources. The author scientifically substantiates the necessity of developing a global strategy to combat climate change.
