Abstract

This article analyzes the role and importance of national and universal values in the educational process. It explores the scientific and theoretical aspects of values in personal development, particularly their role in shaping students’ socially active civic competence. Modern approaches to the modernization of the educational process based on the integration of national and universal values, as well as their pedagogical, psychological, and social aspects, are discussed.
