This article analyzes the importance of introducing innovative technologies in the primary education process, changes in teacher and student activities, as well as ways to improve the educational process. Their use increases the effectiveness of the lesson and develops students' interest, activity, and social competencies.The article also describes the practical aspects of developing the innovative competence of a primary education teacher, selecting methods that are appropriate for the individual characteristics of students, and harmonizing digital tools with national values.
