This paper analyzes the effective models of education and upbringing operating in developed countries of the world, their main principles, and the approaches on which they are based. The models of education and upbringing in Finland, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, China, Turkey, and Russia are discussed here with their specific features and priority directions. The possibilities for integrating optimal models of education and upbringing into the education model currently implemented in the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as opportunities for enriching the educational model of Uzbekistan, are underlined.
