This article analyzes the content, significance, and pedagogical foundations of preparing future primary school teachers to teach the subject of Informatics. The study examined methodological approaches specific to teaching Informatics at the primary education level, the components of teacher competencies, and the possibilities of using modern digital tools. Based on existing scientific literature, as well as national and international experiences, methodological approaches were substantiated to help future teachers develop skills in computational thinking, digital literacy, and effective classroom management.
