This article explores the importance and significance of Smerdyakov's character in the novel. Although many scholars consider Smerdyakov a villain, the embodiment of base nihilistic qualities, this article examines this character from a comprehensive perspective. The article aims to utilize these methods and information during lectures, seminars, and workshops. It contributes to an in-depth study of certain aspects of Fyodor Dostoevsky's novel The Brothers Karamazov.
