HISTORY OF THE ACTIVITIES OF THE BUKHARA REGIONAL DEPARTMENT OF CULTURAL HERITAGE

Abstract
Although the Bukhara Regional Department of Cultural Heritage was officially established on February 20, 2015, its roots date back to the Soviet era. The Soviet Union had a centralized system for managing cultural heritage, while the regions were responsible for scientific research, conservation, and restoration of cultural objects.
