Abstract

This scientific article provides a comprehensive overview of the etiology, epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical features, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of tuberculosis. It analyzes the modern medical understanding of tuberculosis, its global and national prevalence, as well as the international and national strategies aimed at combating this infectious disease. The biological characteristics of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, its effects on the human immune system, and its drug resistance mechanisms are also discussed.
