BENEFITS AND DANGERS OF DEVELOPING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Abstract
This article explores both the advantages and potential disadvantages of artificial intelligence (AI) in modern society. It examines how AI has become an integral part of various fields, such as medicine, education, and entertainment, offering improvements in quality of life and the development of innovative technologies. Also it highlights the potential benefits of AI, including its use in diagnostics, automation, communication, and product quality monitoring. Significant concerns, such as AI’s potential for self-improvement and autonomy, the displacement of human jobs, security risks, and the spread of misinformation are mentioned as well. Additionally, the impact of AI on human intellectual and physical activity, as well as the potential for its misuse, are discussed.
