This article deeply examines the methodological foundations of teaching natural sciences (natural studies and the subject “The World Around Us”) to primary school students using the STEAM approach (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics). The theoretical section is comprehensive, covering the philosophical, psychological-pedagogical, international, and national experiences of STEAM education, integration mechanisms, developmental stages, and possibilities for adaptation to the Uzbekistan education system. Research findings demonstrate that the STEAM approach significantly enhances students’ cognitive, creative, emotional, and practical development. The article offers practical and methodological recommendations for primary school teachers in Uzbekistan and discusses issues related to education policy and resource optimization.
