This article analyzes the role of museums in social life, their cultural, educational, and social functions, as well as new trends observed in museum activities in the modern era. The study examines the importance of museums in preserving historical heritage, their role in the educational system, and their contribution to the development of cultural tourism. It also discusses new directions in museum activities emerging through digital technologies. Furthermore, issues such as virtual museums, interactive exhibitions, digitization processes, and museum pedagogy are explored from a scientific perspective.
