Abstract

In the system of sports training, a mesocycle is a medium-term planning period, usually lasting from several weeks to several months. It is a component of a macrocycle and includes a set of training sessions aimed at a specific goal. Proper organization of a mesocycle allows you to deepen the athlete's general and special training, strengthen technical and tactical skills, and gradually prepare for the competition.
