MEDICAL AND SOCIAL ASPECTS OF THE USE OF MODERN CONTRACEPTIVE METHODS AMONG WOMEN OF REPRODUCTIVE AGE IN UZBEKISTAN
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article provides a scientific analysis of the prevention of early and unintended pregnancies among women of reproductive age in the context of Uzbekistan. The study highlights the effectiveness of modern contraceptive methods (hormonal, intrauterine, and barrier methods), their physiological impact on the female body, and their role in maintaining optimal intergenetic intervals. Furthermore, the research examines the level of medical literacy among women regarding contraceptives and the socio-psychological factors influencing their choices, including regional traditions and common stereotypes. Based on the findings, practical recommendations are proposed to enhance the population's reproductive culture and reduce maternal and infant mortality rates [1,2].
