This article examines the role of digital platforms in shaping contemporary pencil drawing practices, with particular focus on Instagram and Pinterest as sources of artistic inspiration. The study analyzes how these social media platforms influence the creative processes, visual thinking, and stylistic development of artists and students at the Kamoliddin Behzod National Institute of Fine Arts and Design. Special attention is given to the accessibility of visual content, the exchange of creative ideas, and the formation of new artistic trends in the digital environment. The research highlights both the positive aspects of social media—such as increased motivation, exposure to global art practices, and creative experimentation—and the challenges related to originality and artistic identity. The findings demonstrate that Instagram and Pinterest function not only as platforms for sharing artworks but also as powerful tools for artistic inspiration and professional growth in modern fine arts education.
