THE ROLE OF ORAL HYGIENE IN GENERAL HEALTH

This article extensively discusses the importance of oral hygiene in maintaining general health. The negative impact of dental and mucous membrane diseases that occur due to non-compliance with oral hygiene rules on the functioning of the whole organism is analyzed based on scientific sources. The role of oral hygiene in the digestive system, immune status, and the development of chronic diseases is also considered. The article provides basic preventive recommendations for maintaining oral hygiene. It is explained that oral hygiene should be paid attention to from childhood.
