Green financing instruments have become a central component of global efforts to redirect capital toward environmentally sustainable and climate-resilient economic activities. This article examines the economic mechanisms through which green financial instruments—particularly green bonds, sustainability-linked loans, and blended finance—affect investment allocation, technological innovation, and productivity growth. Using comparative international evidence and selected macroeconomic indicators from Uzbekistan, the study demonstrates that green finance not only mitigates environmental risks but also contributes to long-term economic efficiency, fiscal stability, and employment creation. The findings highlight the importance of regulatory credibility, financial transparency, and institutional coordination in maximizing the developmental impact of green finance.
