This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the personal-psychological characteristics of students participating in volunteer activities at higher education institutions in Uzbekistan. The psychological mechanisms of volunteering, theoretical foundations of prosocial behavior, and the social and psychological factors shaping volunteer engagement among students are examined based on scientific sources. The study highlights the development and formation of qualities characteristic of volunteer students, including empathy, social activity, leadership, responsibility, communicative skills, emotional intelligence, self-reflection, and stress resilience.
