Abstract

One of the major difficulties in pediatric surgery today is congenital defects, which are seen in around 3 to 6 percent of babies and need prompt surgery to avoid complications and improve life quality. The research indicates that early surgery, along with the progress in anesthesia and recovery care, has led to a remarkable increase in survival rates and better long-term results for congenital defect patients.
