INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS OF THE TURKISH KHAGANATE

Abstract
This article analyzes the International Relations of the Turkish Khaganate in the 6th–8th centuries on the basis of historical sources. It highlights the diplomatic, trade and economic and military relations of the Turkish Khaganate with China, the Sassanid state, the Byzantine Empire and other political structures in Central Asia. It also reveals the role and importance of the trade relations carried out through the Great Silk Road in the foreign policy of Turkish Khaganate. The article cites the exchange of ambassadors, political alliances and confrontations as one of the main factors in strengthening the political position of the Turkish Khaganate in the region. The results of the study serve to highlight the important place of Turkish Khaganate in the system of international relations of the Middle Ages.The article cites the exchange of ambassadors, political alliances and confrontations as one of the main factors in strengthening the polin.
