Abstract

This article examines the evolution of modern linguistics, literary studies, and translation studies, focusing on key achievements, ongoing challenges, and potential solutions in  these  interrelated  fields.  It  explores  the  historical  development  of  linguistic  theories,  from structuralism   to   poststructuralism,   and   how   these   frameworks   have   influenced   literary analysis and translation practices. Additionally, the thesis investigates the growing significance of interdisciplinary approaches that bridge the gap between linguistics, literary criticism, and translation  theory.  It  also  highlights  current  issues,  such  as  the  complexities  of  meaning transfer, cultural nuances in translation, and the impact of globalization on language diversity.
