The formation of the image of a modern head of a preschool educational institution is today recognized as an important component of quality management in the preschool education system. Modern approaches involve the comprehensive development of the manager's personality, including his external appearance, professional culture, psychological stability, communicative competence and readiness for innovative activities. The article analyzes modern approaches to the formation of the image of a modern head of a preschool educational institution.
