Abstract

This article examines the Varakhsha archaeological site as one of the most significant early urban centers in the Bukhara oasis. It analyzes its historical development, architectural structure, artistic heritage, and socio-economic role based on archaeological and written sources. The study highlights Varakhsha’s importance in understanding urbanization processes in ancient Central Asia.
