Abstract

This article analyses the ecological and economic challenges of Uzbekistan’s logistics system and examines the theoretical foundations of the “green logistics” concept along with the prospects for its implementation in the context of Uzbekistan. The study evaluates the GSCM (Green Supply Chain Management) model, ESG principles, multimodal transport systems, electric freight vehicles, IoT-based smart warehouses, and the economic efficiency of digital logistics platforms. Furthermore, a comparative analysis of the experiences of China, the European Union, South Korea, and Singapore has been conducted, and strategic recommendations for adapting these practices to Uzbekistan have been developed. The research is based on reports by the World Bank, ADB, OECD, and UNCTAD, as well as the legislative and regulatory framework of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
