Abstract

This study was conducted in 2022-2025 in the foothill rainfed area of the Bakhmal district of the Jizzakh region, where 10 varieties of mustard (Sinapis alba L.) were evaluated based on agrobiological traits and yield indicators in a competitive variety testing nursery. According to the research results, the newly created "Bakhmal-70" variety prevailed in key agrnomic indicators, specifically plant height (104,7 cm), 1000-seed weight (2,3 g), and yield (9,1 c/ha). In terms of yield, the "Bakhmal-70" variety was 31,8% higher than the control variety "Nika."
