This article analyzes the theoretical issues of the "green" economy. The article also analyzes the main areas of the "green" economy system: namely, the introduction of renewable energy sources; improving the waste processing and management system, improving the land and water resources management system, developing ecologically "clean" transport, producing natural "clean" products in agriculture, preserving and effectively managing the existing ecosystem. The article also analyzes the essence and goals of "green" technologies and "green" investments aimed at solving ecological and environmental problems, and draws conclusions.
