This article analyzes the formation of the global energy market, its development trends, and its interconnection with global sustainable development processes. At present, the growing demand for energy resources, geopolitical factors, climate change, and environmental issues are accelerating the transformation of the energy sector.
The study examines the balance between traditional and renewable energy sources, energy security, decarbonization processes, and changes within the framework of the “green economy” concept. It also evaluates the imbalances emerging in the global energy market, including uneven resource distribution, price volatility, and shifts in investment processes, from the perspective of their impact on sustainable development goals.
The research findings contribute to the development of scientific and practical conclusions aimed at improving energy policy, increasing energy efficiency, and ensuring environmental safety.
