This article analyzes the current socio-political and economic situation in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, as well as the main trends in its foreign policy and economic development. Factors of political instability, macroeconomic indicators, and economic structure are examined. Particular attention is paid to the prospects for developing cooperation between Uzbekistan and Pakistan, including transport and logistics projects, investment initiatives, and trade expansion.
