HISTORY OF ARCHITECTURAL MONUMENTS BUILT IN BUKHARA

This article provides a detailed description, based on scholarly literature, of archaeological sites, architectural monuments, notable architectural complexes, and historical places built in Bukhara. It also discusses the attention given by statesmen and rulers to the construction of mosques with iwans and domes, as well as neighborhood assemblies (guzars), and the historical monuments built under their patronage. In addition, information is presented about the monuments constructed in the Bukhara oasis during the Karakhanid period and about the lives of architects.
