This article analyzes the characteristics of perfectionism among primary school teachers in comparison with teachers of other subjects. The study compares self-oriented and socially prescribed perfectionism and examines their relationship with the professional role of teachers. The findings indicate that the level of socially prescribed perfectionism is relatively higher among primary school teachers. The article also proposes recommendations for preventing maladaptive perfectionism and strengthening teachers’ professional resilience.
