Abstract

This article comprehensively analyzes the concept of critical thinking free from ideological pressure, its theoretical and methodological foundations and its place in modern society. The importance of critical thinking in the development of the individual and society, its role as a mechanism for protecting against ideological manipulations are revealed. During the study, the main characteristics of critical thinking, its formation factors and its importance in the education system are highlighted based on scientific sources. The article substantiates the need to develop critical thinking in the conditions of social consciousness, information space and ideological influences.
