This paper examines the mechanism of financial analysis as a crucial tool for assessing enterprise performance. It explains the essence of financial analysis, its goals, objectives, and key stages. Particular attention is paid to a system of financial indicators that allows for assessing the financial condition, solvency, liquidity, and profitability of an enterprise. The role of financial analysis in making management decisions aimed at improving business efficiency and ensuring sustainable development in a market economy is substantiated.
